Wallhogs - BIG Prints Made Easy
Just yesterday NotSoBoringLife was accepted by ReviewMe, so I wanted to provide an example review so anyone interested in a review would know just what their $60 would get them. I ended up choosing Wallhogs. The most obvious question you’ll first ask yourself is what is a wallhog? Well they’ve put together a short movie basically showing you that it’s your personal pictures printed BIG. When I say BIG I mean BIG. Their largest poster size is printed at 84″ (7 feet).
I actually chose Wallhogs because I won a contest from another blog (since out of business) where the prize was $100 in prints from Wallhogs. Upon winning the contest I was contacted by a Wallhogs associate who instructed me to create an account. In about 3 seconds I was signed up. The associate then applied a 100% discount to my account and instructed me to order anything up to $100. Piece of cake so far.

Now I don’t know about you but I’ve always been skeptical about printing out big pictures. I guess I thought printers weren’t good enough or my camera quality wasn’t up to snuff. Now with a $100 credit I had no excuses. Wallhogs offers 3 options to have your pictures printed on: Vinyl, Canvas, or a Poster. Since I had $100 to spend I decided to go for a canvas and a poster. For the 24″ X 36″ canvas picture I wanted something that I could hang in our new house so I went with a landscape picture that I took at a friends wedding. I also wanted something to hang in my new office so I decided on a 48″ poster of my favorite shark fishing picture.

Uploading the pictures was a breeze as you would expect with any modern day website. After uploading the pictures you simply choose the picture, the type, and the size and you’re done. Couldn’t be easier. Once I finished uploading and selecting the type and size I was taken to the confirmation page where my order was reviewed. I payed my $8 for shipping and in 3 days my order showed up on the front door.
As I said before I was very skeptical of what I was going to find in the brown tube. When I unrolled the canvas picture my wife and I both stood there in amazement. I was flabbergasted at just how incredible this canvas print turned out. The colors were perfect and the print quality is second to none. These canvas prints are certainly worth the $40 price tag.
After I placed the order for both of these prints my wife asked what size the shark poster would be. I said 48″ and then realized that is 4′. I walked around the house trying to find a picture this big and the closest I could come was 42″. Then it hit me just how big this poster was going to be. As I unrolled it I relived the day I pulled him up onto the beach. Anyways, after we pulled our jaws up off the floor it sank in that I’ll have a 3′ shark hanging on my wall very soon. I’m totally stoked that these prints turned out as well as they did.
I’ve already told a couple of friends of my experience and they too felt like a big print just wouldn’t turn out well. They’ll be ordering a wallhog of their favorite pet Boxer named Camber after hearing my experience. If you’ve always wanted to get a picture blown up don’t be afraid. These guys at Wallhogs know exactly what they’re doing and have the equipment necessary to turn out some very high quality, super huge, prints and posters. I’ll definitely be back for a couple more big prints just as soon as I figure out how to frame my 4′ poster.

Beautiful image, by the way. How long did it take you to reel that mammoth in? I’ve caught a couple of BIG reds but I have never seen anything like that, much less get a bite out of one. Thanks again for your wonderful review, we really appreciate your support, feedback and kind words.
I look forward to hearing back from you soon, stay BIG,
Scott
