My Take on Master Chow
Master Chow has certainly transformed the way that blogs are written, monetized, and marketed. His linkbait idea has gone viral. His revenue has blown by the expectations of anyone in his community. So, what makes Master Chow’s site so different from the rest of the tech-blogs out there?
I finally figured it out today while trying to promote my Not-So-Boring Challenge. Being a brand new blogger I’ve been trying to find blogs with a good amount of personal content before promoting my challenge. What I’ve found over the past two weeks is that nearly all other tech-blogs contain little to no “personal” content. Sure they give their perspective on a given topic, write great articles about the latest bit of news or technology, but the personal content on these blogs is pretty lacking. That, in my opinion, is one of the keys Master Chow’s blogging success.
Not only does he provide great technical content on how to make loads of money blogging, but he actually posts on his interests. Lets take cars for instance. There are two dozen posts on his car, or cars he finds interesting. His fine dining reviews are great. Why? Because its his experience on a topic that is foreign to the majority of people. Plus, some of the crap he eats is just plain disgusting.
Why don’t the rest of the tech-blogs out there take a hint from Master Chow and post some interesting personal content? I can’t think of a better place to start than competing in my Not-So-Boring Challenge. Nobody likes a boring blogger.

yea you right hes not boring…. hes fun evil man…. lol…
He most certainly is not boring I read his blog many time a day. Great quality content, although I dont usually read all of the ReviewMe’s I find most of them don’t interest me.
