Family Recreation: Trip to the Zoo

For Easter weekend we drove over to Montgomery AL to see my parents. On Saturday we took the kids to the Montgomery Zoo. I have to say this is one of the nicest zoos I’ve ever been to. What is great about each exhibit is that the viewing areas for each of the animals are open so there are no fences or screens to look through. Obviously for the birds there are fences, but for the most part the monkeys, elephants, lions, and giraffes are all out where you can truly experience their beauty. I took every opportunity to exercise the shutter button on my Canon Rebel XT and 70-200mm lens. Here are the results.
