List of Hobbies

The easiest way to find a new hobby is to check out a thorough list of hobbies. If the list is long enough you're bound to find something that looks interesting. We promise this is going to be the largest list of hobbies you've ever seen. I'd like to call it the worlds largest list, but I really have no way of proving it. If you find a hobby list longer than ours please let us know. I'd like to personally congratulate them.

so, i need a hobby. i’ve been trying to find one for WEEKS and still no luck. even after reading this great website, i have NO IDEAS! i am not good at running, and i have the pain threshold of a chipmunk, so most sports are out. i would do knitting, but i can’t STAND to sit around for more than like 2 minutes. i can’t watch tv, i can rarely use the computer, and i will not ever consider WALKING a hobby. you have to walk! it’s not really a choice. here’s alist of other things i refuse to do. (gardening) (writing) (acting) (taking pictures) (doing puzzles of any kind). help!

    • Chris says:

      Expanding your horizons? :)

    • pat sanders says:

      Ditto

    • cameron says:

NO need to expand your horizons! A hobby HAS to be intellectually engaging and POSSIBLY spiritually rewarding as well if youre lucky… but thats a harder bill to fill.

Rhonna, start with the gifts you were born with. Are you artistic? Or even if your not… there are plenty of popular artists who suck. Are you artistic and anti-authoritarian? Learn how to make computer viruses! Since you cant sit down for 3 minutes, what is it you do as you wander about your home? Start a blog on living with OCD… people LOVE to see and read about others with problems bigger than theirs.

My point is… pick something you’re good at and then pervert it just a little bit to make it yours. :) Good luck!

Anyone have an idea on what else *I* would be interested in? I can’t seem to bring myself to do any of the things listed nor do I know what else I would like besides these things. Any recommended hobbies based on what I do now? :
Drawing, painting, taking pictures, writing or reading, playing piano, computers, fixing things (TV’s, hooking up DVD players, basically electronic things) and watching TV/cartoons. I don’t know… I still seem to find myself with nothing to do even though I have these hobbies, and they can get a little monotonous after a while.
Also, I refuse to do cooking, sports, singing or dancing. I despise them… MAN, am I ever picky! Thanks.
