10 Things I’ll Do Before I Die

Without further adu...

1. Fly an Ultralite:
If I had my way I would own my own ultralite and go flying on the weekends. Ideally it would be a two seater aircraft so I could enjoy the skies with someone.

2. Hunt Big Game:
I've never hunted anything but fish. How big of an adrenaline rush would it be to hunt a grizzly bear with a bow and arrow?

3. Own my Own Business:
I've got a ton of ideas but as of yet none of panned out. My current idea has a lot of merit and could pan out in the next couple months. Stay tuned.

4. Spearfishing:
After my shark adventure on the beach I think this is the next logical step. I've got two friends, 1 a scuba diver and the other a native to the Bahamas, that could help me fulfill this ambition.

5. Skydive:
The older I get the more likely I'll never take the plunge. I better move this up on the priority list.

6. Attend a Nascar Race:
I've heard its unreal. I want to experience it for myself.

7. World Series Game:
I've always said that if the Cubs make it to the world series I would be there. I think I have a few more years before I need to make plans for this.

8. NFL Game:
Not a huge football fan but would like to experience a football game in the stadium. Its hard to beat the front row seat when you've got HDTV.

9. Smoke a Pipe:
About a year ago, I expressed an interest in smoking a pipe. Its not something I want to do everyday but every once it a while it would be nice to enjoy the great outdoors while toking on a sweet smelling pipe.

10. Own a $500 Fountain Pen:
In high school I worked at one of those luggage stores in the mall. Every since then I've wanted to own a high dollar Mont Blanc fountain pen. Maybe when I own my own business I could justify dropping $500 on a stinkin' pen.

Three, six, eight, and ten appeal to me. Six and eight I have done, and I loved the atmosphere, but the viewing is many times better at home. May get to three, ten seems a bit elusive, but you just never know, but I’ll stay out of the skies and water and leave room for you! Great goals.

You’re just amazing, this website/blog is great, very optimistic and “Enjoy life” Oriented. More people should be like you, my friend.

As for your list, let’s see…I’ve got #5, 6, 8 and 9 down. Perhaps if the cubs do in fact make it to the world series, I’ll see you there! So, I guess spear fishing is next on my list, haha.

If you enjoy adrenaline rushes or even just Fun, outdoorsy activities, you should definitely look into Rock climbing, jousting and/or Paintball, if you have not done so already

In anycase, be well and take care.
